A teacher who is the one who usually gives us the hardest time, pulled me aside afterwards to thank me thoroughly for the information and the day as a whole. That has NEVER happened before, and I have done some really over the top things for our big August meeting, so I know the info touched him. The "thank you" he gave me made the entire experience worth it because I have spent the last 3 years trying to get him to get on board with the social/emotional learning we have been leaning into and I think he finally gets it. Usually, he sits through this type of training scowling and avoiding participation, and this class was totally different. That is a HUGE win for all of us. You really are quite good at what you do!

This was an excellent professional development opportunity. It was very uplifting, and I finished the day feeling very hopeful and recharged. The scheduling of this event came at a great time in the year... many of us teaching in a hybrid model, are exhausted by the ever-changing schedules (in school, remote teaching, hybrid, etc.) and lack of consistency; this was excellent fuel to recharge my teacher soul.

Thank you again for traveling here to help our parents. Your presentation was perfect and helped us further our message to parents about SEL. I also appreciate your help over the past two years with our district SEL. The progress has been slow but purposeful and I can see the impact we are having K-12.

Continue to focus on teacher mental health and emotional/physical/social survival tools. I enjoyed this very much and it gave me the "uplifting moment" that I needed to get me through the rest of the school year. I truly appreciate the time that I spent and felt the PD was very worthwhile. Thank you.
